ARBITRARY ARREST OF ANOTHER CNRP ACTIVIST IN PHNOM PENH
On April 02, 2020, around 10 am, another CNRP activist was arrested at his mother’s home in Kandal province’s Rokar Kaong commune where he had gone into hiding to escape political persecution amid the deteriorating political situation in Cambodia.
Mr. Khim Pheana, 49, head of CNRP Executive Committee in Phnom Penh’s Sankat Phsar Depo III and former elected commune chief, was the eighth CNRP activist arrested in relation to COVID-19 outbreak in Cambodia since early March 2020.
